Our Reading curriculum is centred around books. 

Throughout your child's time at Thornhill we will share each of these books with them. The books have been specifically chosen to link with the history topics that we teach in the different year groups. 

We have chosen a vast range of books covering many themes and genres to provide your child with a breadth of reading experiences during their time with us. The titles highlighted in yellow are books that we read with the children simply for pleasure.  

If you would like to share any of these stories with your children, they can be easily found on Amazon and are relatively inexpensive.
